Yerba Santa, is called “Sacred Herb” by the Chumash Indians in California, and grows in the arid hilly areas of northern New Mexico, California, and Oregon. Traditionally used as a smudge or incense for protection and setting boundaries, Yerba Santa has also been used for love, purification, growth, empowerment and the release of emotional pain.
