Horn Bead, 4.5" Lg hole

These are often used on old-style breast plates, chokers, attached to deer lace, leather and sinew. They are carved from a water buffalo horn.  Buffalo horn beads are popular in Native American crafts. They come in various shapes and sizes, including hair pipe, and round beads.
