Nelson Garcia (1955-now ) was born in Santo Domingo Tewa Pueblo, NM. He learned from his father and has been making jewelry since he was a boy. A multiple award winner, he is referenced in Hougart's "Native American and Southwestern Silver Hallmarks" and Wright's "Hallmarks of the Southwest" The single turquoise stone is 2"x 1 1/2". This piece is 3 inches long with an interior width of 2 3/8" inches with a 1 1/2" inch gap. This piece is a classic for master silversmith Nelson Garcia.
